CrossFit è un programma e metodo di allenamento nato con l’obiettivo di sviluppare tutte le principali doti degli atleti moderni. Velocità, resistenza, potenza… ma non solo. Un atleta di CrossFit incrementa, nel corso degli allenamenti, la propria flessibilità, reattività, agilità ed equilibrio.

Il punto di forza di questo metodo è la multidisciplinarietà: per sviluppare in maniera omogenea tutte queste doti, si eseguono allenamenti tipici del weightlifting (pesistica olimpica), oppure allenamenti di corsa o di ginnastica (anelli, parallele e sbarre…) e spesso, si eseguono allenamenti misti!

Perché provare il CrossFit? Perché da sempre guardiamo con ammirazione gli atleti di tutte le discipline più antiche. Chi non si è emozionato con le lunghissime corse di Gelindo Bordin? O con le perfette esecuzioni agli anelli di Yuri Chechi? Ricordate la potenza del pesista veronese Fausto Tosi alle olimpiadi di Seoul ’88? Prestazioni sportive che ci hanno emozionati tutti! Beh, perché non … provarle tutte?!? Non manca poi la corsa e in estate anche il nuoto.
